Who said that size does not matter? - New Grand Billund, by Herman Blume (Will, on Flickr)

Jun 20, 2022
It seems that there are some things where size DOES matter... or at least impress.

One of those cases is this huge building made by Herman Blume (Will, on Flickr), who built this amazing Hotel, giving it the name of New Grand Billund, which occupies no less than four 32 x 32 baseplates.

It stands out not only in width and length, but also with its height, as it is almost twice as tall as the last two modular buildings LEGO released (you can see a photo of them side by side with this MOC).

And this hotel has everything you need, several types of rooms, a large atrium, gym, conference room, kitchen, bar, restaurant, and even a swimming pool on the roof (especially if you want to impress your loved one, since it’s heart shaped), with a beautiful view of the city.

You can see more photos (and should) of this MOC (between interiors and exteriors, there are more than 100), in Will's Flickr gallery.
