Another much-anticipated set was announced during this year’s LEGO CON – the LEGO Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum (76218) set.

This modular recreation of Doctor Strange’s most sacred building features minifigure characters from the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie and some from the Avengers: Infinity war movie. There is the Doctor Strange minifigure and the Scarlet witch, Wong, Ebony Maw, Spider-Man, Ironman MK 50, Zombie Strange, Sinister Strange, and Mordo minifigures.

Other versions of the Sanctum Sanctorum were not created in this new modular setting, making this new set more unique. For example, the 2016 Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (76060) was crafted in a stage setting, while the 2018  Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (76108) set was created as a playset, and the 2021 Spiderman at the Sanctum Workshop (76185) was crafted as a cellar.

The 2,708 pieces of this set come together nicely to give a picture of what the inside of the Sanctum Sanctorum looks like, with the Library, which features the door that leads to various parts of the world, and the wild Museum of mythical arts. It also shows a Portal with a small-sized version of the Gargantos from the Gargantos Shadow (76205) model, and this creative piece can be hung as a wall decoration.

Amazing, the 76218 set is the only other set after last year’s 76178 Daily Bugle set to come in the new Modular Building Style.
