Megalodon Beach, by Baron von Brunk (LEGO Ideas)
Jul 27, 2022
It really is a pirate's life...
With the announcement of another contest in the LEGO Ideas platform, entitled "90th Anniversary: Pirate Theme Celebrations", AFOL Baron von Brunk submitted this terrifying construction that will leave anyone "jaw(s)-dropped" (get it?).
The huge Megalodon, an already extinct huge predator of the seas, has taken by surprise the pirates who are trying at all costs to reach the mainland safe and sound.
If the beach has very simple techniques, the same cannot be said about the shark, which is very detailed and has a magnificent and terrifying look. Also noteworthy is the curious use of windscreens in trans-light blue for the water splashes.
For anyone who wants to participate in this contest (the prizes are great, believe me), you can see how to do it here. And you can also see more MOCs by Baron von Brunk in his LEGO IDEAS gallery.
