Regarding "Summer Joust 2022", a LEGO activity where fans build within several proposed themes from the Castle universe, AFOL Andreas Lenander (Flickr), created this magnificent construction with African roots, filled with very interesting details.
With very generous dimensions of 64 x 96 (which is sometimes a nightmare to photograph), I highlight the palm trees, with an excellent (and simple) effect on their trunk, or even the windows of the front towers, inside with 1 x 2 bricks (logs) in snot, giving it a very interesting railing look. The dome on the right is also perfect, as many other details such as the floor, the colours used, or the small boat with the Scala deco parts (I love these elements).
And have you noticed that there isn’t almost any stud in sight?
