Gas Station, by Lukasz Libuszewski, with instructions - (alternative building made from set 80036: The City of Lanterns
Jun 22, 2022
For many LEGO fans, the 80036 The City of Lanterns set is one of the most interesting of the Monkie Kid theme, that’s a fact. But now, and after seeing this alternative construction by Lukasz Libuszewski , and what he managed to do with the LEGO parts of this set (and a few more), for sure that the will to acquire this set will increase.
The work that Lukasz did is impressive, even regarding some small details (which were actually well disguised), it seems that this MOC is actually an official set.
The details are fantastic, the final look is incredible and very faithful to the image of some fuel stations that are located inside big cities. And even the lack of some pieces in certain colors or shapes, to maintain the same symmetry, was brilliantly fulfilled with a clever use of other elements.
I highlight the architectural style given to the building, very 50's and 60's (within the genre that you can see in official LEGO modulars), the detailed interiors, the exterior signs and the look of the facade of the different buildings.
For those who want to build this, instructions for this alternative model can be purchased on Lukasz's official page, brickative.shoplo.com.
