Dwarf King Ulájuk, by ghalad (Flickr)

I must admit that it's not the type of MOC I like to see the most (I usually prefer minifig scale things), but it's also true that it's where you learn a lot and see fantastic uses of LEGO elements in completely unexpected techniques.
AFOL Steven W. Howard (Ghalad on Flickr) built this gigantic dwarf (yes, I really did write gigantic dwarf) out of LEGO, weighing around 5-6kg and 50cm tall, full of fine details.
I highlight the sails of the 6210 - Jabba's Sail Barge, the shoulder pads, from the Star Wars set of the planets, the 9678 - Twin Pod Cloud Car & Bespin, the wings on the beard, the 1 x 2 slopes with grid on the "skirts" of the armor, the golden shutters, both on the beard and on the huge hammer, and the King's own face, with a very characteristic look.
You can and should see more photos of this and other works by this talented AFOL in his Flickr or Instagram gallery
